Today I had a 10:15 scheduled appointment. I waited an hour and half before being I got my mammogram. How does this happen for a morning appointment in a practice where there are no "emergency" visits? Clearly they double-book patients--or just don't care about wait times. This is inexcusable when people are already stressed about possible cancer diagnoses. After calling twice for an appointment and no one picking up after holding 7 minutes, I will go elsewhere. As a courtesy to them, I called the business office in Virginia to let them know, but they also had a long menu to go through so I just hung up.

When I checked in, the sign-in sheet clearly showed the names of 4-5 patients who signed in before me, which is a clear HIPPA violation. Additionally, the front desk staff was indifferent, often curt, and came across as being unhappy in their jobs.

I had a 2pm ultrasound scheduled. Over an hour of waiting and watching everyone who came in after me get called is very frustrating especially when you need a full bladder for your test. No apologies...just "we are short staffed." Appalling!

The official website for this facility states walk-in hours for X-rays are "8:00 am - 4:00 pm, M-F." However, I was told over the phone the hours were 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, M-F. I got to the facility at 7:45 and the staff was still streaming in a side door at 8:04. The front desk staff were particularly unhelpful. The woman at the front desk watched me as I stood in the hallway with my son sitting on the floor and made no effort to wave us in or let us know that they were open. Incredibly slow service at the front desk. One lady was whizzing though customers while the other one took 15 minutes per customer. Completely unnecessary and not good service in the waiting room at all so far.

The x-ray process was fine, but the parking was a nightmare at this location (Bethesda). There is a fee to park, and the parking lot could not have been laid out worse. The queue of cars is exactly next to several parking spaces, so when the parked cars want to come out, it creates havoc.
