My six-year-old daughter's eye was swollen shut and so we brought her to WellNow to be checked. The NP gave her a diagnosis and sent us home with two prescriptions. We followed up with the pediatrician the next day when it wasn't better and found out that the NP gave us the wrong kind of medicine to fix periorbital cellulitis. This resulted in my daughter having to have 2 shots of antibiotics and another round of the correct oral antibiotics. If we had waited any longer, we would have ended up in the emergency room. The NP that 'treated' me at the center on the corner of Portland and East Ridge Road, had the worst bedside manner I've ever encountered. Apparently over the last 6 weeks, I just keep getting various viruses and I need to come back the next time I am full blown sick with fever and disgusting mucus.
