Although our contract was fairly straightforward to cancel, it took several months of back and forth with the property to finally come to an agreement. We were told the fee we paid was their minimum amount, which seemed high at the time but at the end of our ordeal, appeared to be worth it. The staff at Wesley all appeared to be genuinely interested in helping us and were always responsive to our questions. All in all, a positive experience given the horror stories I hear from owners at other resorts.
We started the cancellation process earlier this year, spring 2025, and have just finished, November 2025, and got confirmation of cancellation from my timeshare. I had the timeshare for 20 years and had enough as maintenance fees kept going up. It cost a “pretty penny” but now it’s over and now I feel relief and can move forward to a brighter future of less debt. Thanks, **
