Not everything is perfect. But most residents will say they are happy to be here. Everyone is pleasant. There are numerous activities every day. Bus transportation to and from grocery stores, medical appointments and outings are provided. Three meals a day are provided. I like the camaraderie and the events they have but what I don't like and you see happens at dinner is the table tops are only four people and if there was a way of Windward Palms putting together the tables so we could sit eight instead of four there would be a lot less screaming to talk to each other at dinner. usually by dinner time the guys have had one too many and they're very vocal and loud with their friends usually sitting for a five tables down from me. The most part for now is it's safe.

Im probably the youngest one here, I don't attend activities, I basically just go and eat 3 meals. And go in my room. Cost is good. Meals are ok. Always something to do

Windward Palms the food wasn't that good. We moved to the Landings at Gentry Park in Orlando to be close to be close to our son 5 minutes away. The facility is only 1 year old. It's beautiful, The food is very good. We have probably the nicest apt we ever had. 12 ft high ceilings a big beautiful full kitchen a full size washer and dryer in the apt. The place is not cheap fortunately I could afford it Look up this place on the internet . You get in this case what you pay for The Windwood wasn't exactly cheap. The food wasn't ... read more

The community is really nice, my father enjoys being there. We've had a couple of hiccups with admin services but they have been receptive to resolving our problems.

I recently moved my 92 year old dad here. After so many visit around town we settled on a ground floor one bedroom. The price was so affordable and the facility clean and friendly. He loves his apartment and the staff and the food is pretty good! Most of all they are responsive and willing to jump through hoops for the seniors living there. I am happy.

We picked this community, because of the friendliness and accommodation of the staff. And the grounds were great to see via virtual tour/ phone and in person. They are caring, Reliable people in a nicely updated community building. The community is a perfect size and offers what you want and you chose what to participate in. The main reason I picked this community, was because of the price and what we were looking for. I would tell a friend, that it's a nice place. The people that work and live there are friendly and that my mom and step-dad both enjoy staying there.
