I ordered this brand and absolutely love it! It catches the leaves in the pool before they go into the main filter. it was very easy to install and it opens very easy to empty. I highly recommend this especially if you don't have screen enclosure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holds way more than the pump's strainer basket Bought this because in the fall when our neighbors trees would lose their leaves our pump strainer basket would get clogged with leaves multiple times per day to the point where the pump would start sucking air and shut itself off. Restarting the pump when it did this was a real PITA as well because the whole system was filled with air and it took forever to prime.
