Solved our debris issue This debris catcher is fantastic!! Even the pool service guy that cleared the blocked vac line was totally impressed. He had never seen one in action as they sell an off brand but now will be switching to this one!!!
Doesn't Work Great in Real Life Solidly built and the concept is good. Does not float vertically without a lot of hassle. Usually it floats on one side. Does catch debris.

Update- Major design flaw which can be overcome The media could not be loaded. Let me start with the good. I like the design of the canister overall. I particularly like the way that it collects leaves and debris without causing a reduction in pressure as the canister begins to fill up. The flow of the water is separated from the filter inside the canister. Love it! While this was more expensive than other products, the quality and and ease to empty the leaves make it well worth the cost. I wish I would have bought one years ago.
