Easy to open, works great! I wish I had replaced my old leaf canister with this years ago. It is so easy to open and clean, and it cleverly drains out of the bottom when you take it out of the water - so you don't spill debris into the pool.
Works Ok, but ONLY if you can get it to staymostly vertical My canister tends to rarely stay vertical, as directed to have it vertical in the instructions. It tends to lean to the side by about 60-degree or so but it still seems to work fine. It becomes an issue if the canister goes sideways or horizontal with the pool surface as then it will break suction and leak air which can damage the pump if left in that position for more than a few minutes. Works well to keep leaves & debris out of the pool Works perfectly and even came with an adapter for different pool hoses. Just add it to your existing line.
Zodiac leaf catcher Works as described, catches all the leaves and blooms that fall into the pool from my neighbors yard. Quick and easy to set up and clean it when needed. Worth the money, totally!
Still the best leaf capture device for suction-side cleaners I just replaced mine after ~8 years! the old one had collected some algea in the nooks and crannies, and the internal basket cracked after one too many heavy loads of leaves (this caused high back pressure inside the canister, distorting the basket).The only things that seem to need servicing are the basket, which must be emptied fairly often, and the bottom rubber one-way valve, which degrades over time. Works very well Nice as you can see how full it is.
Good but Since leaf catcher should float vertically it catches hose and bunches hose up so have to untangle.
Works well with leafs and debris This canister better than other ones I used. It does not pass some to the main filters
