Great Pool Sweep
Ordered as a replacement for a similar unit that I had used for over 5 years. The new baracuda delivers the same cleaning power as my previous unit with a much better performance. Easy to assemble, install and up and running in a matter of minutes. Cleans the entire pool without any dead spots and removes hard to get leaves, palm blooms, etc. Great unit for the money.

Give it a try
Only a week of use so far and it's great. My mx6 was not doing so great after a couple of years of every day use so i bought this one instead. I will see how it does in the fall with the leaves. One leaf would shut down the mx6 so i'm anxious to see this one work. I like the constant contact with the surface as it moves along the pool.

Best purchase
WE were in desperate need of this real quick. Shipping was awesome. Came with hoses too, that I wasn't aware of when purchasing . It does not get hung up on sides of pool. But it travels up high. Suction is great. I would highly recommend this product. Well worth the price, no complaints have used it all summer.

Separate tubes
Liked individual connecting tubes. Also liked little piece that allows you to check suction at end of tubing. Won’t order any other from now on

Does a decent pool cleaning
This does a good job but I find I have to guide it to reach certain areas. Doesn’t do a thorough job on our steps

Best bang for buck
Been using barracuda for ages. You can't go wrong using it on my above ground. Rarely a leaf left behind. Recommend using the suction gauge that is provided it will allow the diaphragm to last the longest and keeps it from knocking (making noise). Otherwise it's silent, don't waste money on the other vacs, I had a cheapy before it was loud. Highly recommend, oh and the replacement parts are cheap.
My father had a barracuda that's ten years old!! Enough said.
