It works well, but after I had to purchase 2 more weights for the hose, those should have been included, 1 was, but not enough.

Our first zodiac cleaner that we got 20 years ago worked better than this brand new one we just bought. I thought time makes things better.

I have had two Polaris aux pump inground swimming pool cleaners over the past 10 years. These cleaners have many parts. In both cases one or more parts wore out, a third time, I had to replace the not-inexpensive dedicated pump. As well, Polaris cleaner cost over three times the cost of the zodiac. This time around, I’m looking for durability and simplicity. I am hoping that the lack of moving parts in the zodiac system will allow a much longer service life at a much lower cost. So far, it works great! Couldn’t be happier!

Bought the G3 after diaphragm of Zodiac G2 went bad replaced that diaphragm with one from a Amazon worked okay. Went to Pinch A Penny store in town and G3 was on sale. Bought it and it works better than the G2 plus came with an extra diaphragm. Gave the G2 to the neighbor still working! G3 is a better design and is an affordable pool vac

It does the job, especially since it only has one moving part. This is the third G3 that I've owned. The first I left when I sold the house, the second deteriorated after 3 years of use. I could have replaced parts, but decided a shiny new one was a better deal.
