This cleaner is amazing! We had a Hayward Aquanaut since building our pool 5yrs ago, we thought it did a good job, but this is our first time owning a pool. This by far out performs the Aquanaut. It is a larger clear and covers more surface while cleaning. It has amazing suction that it actually climbs the walls of the pool and also cleans. The 2 circular scrubbers on the bottom are in constant motion even while in a low cleaning phase. We only wish we had purchased sooner.

Very good cleaner! Had to replace two other cleaners that would just do circles and not clean the whole pool and this one goes just about everywhere without over cleaning one spot. I was originally told to stay away by one pool guy because there’s “too many moving parts” but it’s super easy to take apart and maintenance looks minimal.

Great pool cleaning device. I have owned other different devices in the past and all of them tended to get stuck in a few areas of my pool. With the MX8 Elite’s dual drive and reverse feature I no longer have that issue with this model.

The pool is beautifully clean. But sometimes I notice it's been sitting in one spot for a while. I pull it up to just below surface, and see that nothing is turning. I give a little nudge to the rotors and all is well again. Why? This means I can't trust it to work unsupervised if I'm gone for a few days.
