So far so good. It goes over the drains really nicely as my old cleaner always got stuck. However, as it does climb the walls, it continually gets stuck on the step in the deep end and on the concrete stairs in the shallow. Fred, my cleaner, obviously hasn't learned how to get out of those situations and sometimes he will stay there for hours on end until I happen to notice he is in distress. I have owned a couple of suction side pool cleaners and have NEVER experienced the kind of TOTAL clean that the MX8 Elite provides! It not only cleans my pool but as advertised it’s scrubs it also! The actual complexion of my pool has changed and there’s a vivid Ness in the clarity of my water as well. My last cleaner kept my pool clean but it all do honesty it didn’t scrub it. In that way the MX8 Elite is in a league All its own! What an exceptional product.

the pool cleaner works great when in use. the only problem is the elbow connector to the skimmer. the fittings are too loose. as a result the hose attachment falls away. a tighter connection or a lock-in connection (like the connecting hoses) would be a better system.
