I leave my zodiac MX8in the pool all the time. It all start years ago when I had my brick paver driveway pressure washed but I said do not clean the leni. The sand got In the pool and the pool cleaning company tried and tried to get it out, they said will get it out next week with this new bag filter will get.It didn't happen so I went to the pool store and picked up my first Zodiac MX8 and from that first day my wife was happy no sand in the pool, so as you know happy wife happy life. This little guy has worked perfectly from the moment I put it in the pool. I’m amazed at how it climbs the sides - they are right when the advertise that it aggressively cleans the sides! After having the Hayward Navigator for years and sinking money into it every year for repairs, I am hopeful that this one will not need the same type of expensive upkeep.
