I have had robotic cleaners in the past and the Zodiac MX8 does a far better job cleaning my inground pool.
Just got it and have used it only 2 times so far it is work just fine.
We do not need to hire anyone because this machine does everything possible.
Great cleaner. Customers love how it works. Problem lately with the flow regulator going bad. It’s allowing to much water into hose. Cleaner slows or stops. Remove regulator and cleaner moves great.
Our pool is 9,000 -10,000 gallons. I like that it actually wipes the pool surface as it operates. It climbs some walls all the way to the top and others at least partially. The swivel mechanism and random directional changes work well. It requires quite a bit of suction to operate and I have to shut off my floor drain for it to operate properly. (Figuring this out did lead me to discover a crack in my impeller though) I would rather it used standard readily available hoses. As far as durability and parts; time will tell. The... read more

We had a pool service, but they often left the pool still looking dirty. We let them go when we bought the Zodiac. The first time we ran the MX8 ("Max") the pool looked fabulous. It paid for itself in a little over 2 months.
