We love how we can link our mobile phones to our office phones globally and use other services like messaging and group calling.
Six months ago, we went to the 8X8 Phone system. The functionality of the system was so much better than our older antiquated phone system. The ability to Direct dial from one location to another located in a different state by dialing a direct extension is amazing. Having individualized phone numbers for each extension is a great plus; so that you can each leave an individual phone number for return calls to help drop the overwhelming number of incoming calls on the main lines. We have our first deal we are close on Monday. We are super excited about first Reab. I look to do more in future. We are very excited to start great business adventure.
What I would say I love most about 8x8 cloud communications, is it allows me the flexibility to call clients back from 'my office', using our business number rather than my personal number, while at home when on-call. It keeps my cell phone number private when calling back clients when away from the office.
The ability to affordable manage our phone system has taken a big load off of our company financially and operationally. Being able to easily answer calls in or out of the office, adjust who is receiving calls, and better allow people to truly step away while they are on vacation has been a big help.
E-mailed messages about voice messages left and the ability to listen on-line.
I work for a fairly small company but before getting 8x8 we only had one mainline phone. Now, whenever someone needs to cover the phones and what not, it is easy for us to transfer the calls to someones office. It is also nice to be able to transfer different calls to different departments so one person is not stuck giving out messages all day! Makes the work flow easier for everyone!
We were able to make customer service a number one priority! Now, when members of the community call the District Office, we can transfer them directly to one of our 32 school sites, instead of just giving them a separate phone number to call themselves. What a HUGE difference this makes in serving members of our community. Thank you 8 x 8.
