One of the greatest features is the ability to have an extension transfer to any telephone number if it is not answered. Our ministry includes a clothing store that serves foster children exclusively. We have standard hours, but many times children come into care with little more than the clothes on their back. This 8x8 feature allows foster parents to reach a volunteer 24/7 and have their needs met quickly ... all thanks to this outstanding feature!

It's great how you can put notes and cellphone numbers when our guys are out and/or I need to leave specific instructions for my cover. It's great to not have to worry if I need to step away from my desk so I can put on DND or auto attendant, that's the best part so someone doesn't have to come downstairs to answer the phone.
It is helpful to be able to connect both in the office and at home
The ability to check my messages from my email. I had a traumatic brain injury patient that needed assistance right away on a Saturday morning and I had checked my email in the morning and saw her message. Much better than a beeper or calling in remotely from another phone. Additionally, the internet went down, however I was able to route my calls to me personal cell number until the problem was fixed!
Since we have started with 8X8, it has increased our ability to communicate quickly and efficiently with our two office, one in New Braunfels and one in San Antonio. It is so great to have the choice to listen to the voice mails on the phone or on the computer, and I can save the voice mails in a file on my computer for later reference. And I could go on and on.
