I love 8x8! Unfortunately we had another one of the major competitors of virtual office phone service when we started our business. It was a nightmare. After our grand opening the service worked for three days. We weren't receiving any calls and the lines were all mixed up. They couldn't even call me so we had to talk via email. We lost so much business from this. The worst thing is this "other company" took a month to try and fix it. Are company is a out 40% remote. We love that we can either buy a phone and add service or add soft phone service without any issues, anytime we need it. We have phones in the UK, Chicago, and Arkansas that talk to each other and are easily configurable.
8x8 is exceptional, I really love the conference calling feature. Most overall the app is great so I am able to make calls from my mobile phone and have 8x8 track the call!
The value in 8x8 is immeasurable. All of my phone, fax, forwarding, and voicemail needs are managed seamlessly. The 8x8 app has allowed me to cut the cost and necessity of an on call phone line. and the system supports me even when there is a power outage...which happens often here. The customer service chat option is great also. I have used it for setting up my fax machine and custom hold music. 8x8 has helped my small business stretch it's budget without forfeiting quality service.
