Good Scanner, a little design flaw. I think the software is good and I think for the most part it is a decent scanner. Does it Jam, it depends on the paper. I think I found a design flaw. I was going to get rid of the scanner because it was just not reliable because it would always jam or skew. I realized it was because nothing is pushing the paper back or keeping the paper from going off the left and right rails. This happens if you have folded paper, or not perfectly flat paper. Great little machines to reduce paper clutter and make paperless filing easy! I bought one of these for each of our locations at work. It has streamlined our paperless process in ways I couldn't have begun to imagine! It uploads our double sided document scans directly to the appropriate Dropbox folder and is very fast. Good reliable little scanner. This is a nice scanner that will do double sided color and works well with Paperport. It can be finicky feeding some types of paper but I like it much better than my canon all in one. It is fairly small and seems pretty well built. I am using it to get a paperless office.
Another Great Product from Brother I am a big fan of scanning and had been using the scanner feature of my Brother printer to reduce the paper clutter in my office. Five Stars Great purchase
Does what I need. Does what I need. Use it to scan stuff via email mostly but the local scan feature works also. Set up the SMTP to go out via gmail and set up a bunch of shortcut to scan directly to various email destinations. Lets you dump all that paper.

excellent! I love Brother products and their technical support. This scanner is excellent if you want double sided scanning. Very accurate, clear, and very user friendly. Set up is easy and tou are ready to go.
good machine for the price I like that it is small, and scans pretty quickly, you can set it up on server and scan to email and have multiple email addresses set up to choose who gets that scan. It does have a tendency to pull pages crooked if you have several which causes jams. the guides for the paper should have been longer which would have helped to keep them from scanning in crooked. over all pretty happy with the speed and clarity of the machine.
