So Disappointed, Let me count the ways.. I had great hopes for this scanner, it has been a disappointed at almost every turn. After 2 months of trying to use it here are my observations. * Software that comes with the scanner is Horrible, horrible in every way, to the point of useless. * Customer service answers the phone but has no answers, even their "Level 2" support is not evenly basically familiar with their products and provides zero support. Constant jamming Purchased this scanner to scan sets of documents of about 20 pages each. Attempted to scan six different sets of documents, multiple times each. All jammed within the first 10 pages. No sets of documents were completed. Seeking to return for refund.

This scanner doe not scan 50 pages. It won't ... This scanner doe not scan 50 pages. It won't even do 20 pages. Not worth the Money. I wish I had kept the box I would return it.

Missing Included Software Where is the included software as advertised? I chose this for Nuance PDF Converter Professional 8 - bonus software that was supposed to be included. It is not with it or on the CD

Unhappy First time I've bought a scanner in 20 years that I couldn't take out of the box and plug into my computer and have it just work. Only some models are network compatible (this one isn't) and the "free software" all fights with each other and tries to sell you the real versions of their software.

Absolutely horrible This is not a good Scanner. Frequently will not work. Comes up with all these error messages. Way too much money for the horrible production it offers. Many times in the past 6 months we have had to uninstall and reinstall this many times. Each time we contact brother, we are able to figure out what needs done to fix it. But the annoyance of constantly not having a working scanner is frustrating. I will never purchase this product again!

Disappointing. ADF feeds paper crooked a lot! Quality of scans not as good as my old Epson Workforce GT-1500. Flimsy constructio Disappointing. Pros: easy to install and use; FAST! Cons: flimsy plastic construction. Automatic Document Feeder feeds paper crooked a lot. I bought this to replace my old Epson Workforce GT-1500 when the ADF died. The document scan quality is not as good at 600dpi as the scan quality on the GT-1500 at 300dpi. The scan quality of photos is poor.

it was great that I got support right away - thank you OH BROTHER!!! DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. Ok, it was great that I got support right away - thank you, Brother - but, this machine is nothing but a frustration. After 4 or 5 downloads (software) and updates, the machine continues to take several minutes per document to process. The only way to get a quick scan is to unplug the usb for each scan.
