Dr. McLawhorn and his entire staff were outstanding. It was a total team effort and i was very impressed with the level of service that I experienced. I went to Dr. McLawhorn for a total left hip replacement. My recovery was much quicker than I ever expected. Doctor and staff are exceptional in every way.

It was an amazing experience having partial knee replacement with Dr Mclawhorn and his team. I experienced fist class treatment and professionalism throughout the entire process and an over the moon with the results. Dr Mclawhorn is an excellent skilled surgeon and using Stamford HSS as the hospital was just the icing on the cake.
I had full hip replacement. I was nervous about the surgery. The outcome has changed my life. I didn’t take any pain medication during recovery, I was Independent 2 weeks post surgery, and I am pain free and exercising 5 weeks post surgery. My total hip replacement with Dr. McLawhorn was so much easier than I had expected. Dr. McLawhorn and team were all extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. I could not have hoped for a better experience and outcome.
I went to Dr. McLawhorn in July 2020 for a second opinion about a total knee replacement for my left knee. I decided to go to HSS based on Dr. McLawhorn’s positive reviews. He spent almost an hour with me and was very honest about the procedure and the recoup involved. He said if I was not sure, that I should wait to proceed. Dr. McLawhorn did my hip replacement and from beginning to end it could not have gone better. With a superb surgeon , a wonderful team and a first rate hospital ( Stamford hospital) they made the whole experience better than I could possible have expected. I was as expected a little uncomfortable for a few days but since then I have gone from strength to strength. 5 weeks later no pain and no limp. A truly splendid job. Maurice Ryan
