Dr. McLawhorn changed my life. I suffered with arthritic knees for many years and by the time I arrived at his office I was using a walker and not able to do the simplest of tasks. I had full hip replacement. I was nervous about the surgery. The outcome has changed my life. I didn’t take any pain medication during recovery, I was Independent 2 weeks post surgery, and I am pain free and exercising 5 weeks post surgery. I went to Dr. McLawhorn in July 2020 for a second opinion about a total knee replacement for my left knee. I decided to go to HSS based on Dr. McLawhorn’s positive reviews. Dr. McLawhorn did my hip replacement and from beginning to end it could not have gone better. With a superb surgeon , a wonderful team and a first rate hospital ( Stamford hospital) they made the whole experience better than I could possible have expected.
