I can't say enough about my positive experience with Dr. McLawhorn and his amazing support team. From the our first tele-health appointment, through the surgery, to 6 week post-op check up, Dr. McLawhorn was patient, answered my long list of questions & has a great bed side manner. I had a left hip replacement by Dr. McLawhorne 5 months ago, and doing great as a result. I was in unbearable pain before, but that’s history now. The doctors, staff at HSS Stamford were very attentive & caring. Dr. McLawhorne is a great listener & genuinely cares about his patient’s concerns. Had a good follow up visit, and now looking forward to getting the right hip done as well, with Dr, McLawhorne!

After doing extensive research on orthopedic surgeons and hospitals in Pennsylvania, I chose Dr. McLawhorn at HSS in NYC. The nurses at HSS were kind and responded to my calls almost immediately. The hospital was clean and efficient. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. McLawhorn. Besides getting me back to tennis, golf, biking and other sports within 3 months, I appear to have zero leg discrepancy.
