Highly skilled professional caring doctor. Attentive office staff. I had my left knee replacement in January I will have my right knee replacement in October.
Dr McLawhorn and his team are so professional and calming they answered all my questions when I first met them. I went in with one leg longer and in terrible pain in my hip. When I woke up 2 hours later there was not pain deep in my hip and I was then able to stand flat on both fee. My life has been changed forever. I would give the highest recommendation beyond all scales! I have recommended Dr. McLawhorn and will continue.
I felt Dr. McLawhorn diagnosed the issue correctly, had a professional manner which was extremely reassuring and solved my hip problem successfully. The staff was courteous and respectful. I feel great and will definitely go to him in the future when my next hip needs doing! I've recommended him to friends.

I had a left hip replacement by Dr. McLawhorne 5 months ago, and doing great as a result. I was in unbearable pain before, but that’s history now. The doctors, staff at HSS Stamford were very attentive & caring. Dr. McLawhorne is a great listener & genuinely cares about his patient’s concerns. Had a good follow up visit, and now looking forward to getting the right hip done as well, with Dr, McLawhorne!
