Although the moving guys were very good, the price of the service was extremely high. We asked for 2 people to help us move items from a storage unit into our truck for 2 hours. They charged us $562! Very disappointing and I can not recommend them.
The worst moving company I've used. 1) Moving crew was very disorganized, (I had to project manage them because one mover seemed lost), 2)spent way too much time to move a small apartment, 3) damaged several items, put a bed together wrong and had to reassemble (which of course took more time and money) 4) Management was very unresponsive to issues and working to resolve damaged furniture. E-mails and phone calls were ignored. I've never had this many problems with any service vendor and lack of customer service.
So I just had the craziest experience. I scheduled a 2 day move with All My Sons for an estimate of $4500.00 / 6 bedroom house. The 4 man moving team was fantastic (which is why I am giving 2 stars.) I paid a $400 deposit, they moved my in home office into new office space, and then packed an moved a full-truck into storage. My wife and I helped and coordinated the move throughout the day. Not long distance they are scam artists. They ask for deposit but this is Illegal. They are the dumb ones if they really think they can scam a deposit from someone and give them a bs bill of lading and ignore your calls until you want your money back. They might be capable of a short move but absolutely positively no way anything else. Use a larger company pay the same AND there are no brokers involved. All My Scammers....
We used All My Sons to move from one small house to a rental in September. She purchase a home and just moved again. After the experience we had in September, we decided not to use this company again. Some items were damaged, and the owner did not respond when my mom called them at the time. They literally plastic wrapped almost every item (which impressed at the time),and charged at the end for it. They also charged for any tape used. They did NOT honor their quote at all. They quoted us $109 an hour and then charged us $388 for two hours of work. The guys did the work but the company charged us over their price and tacked on extra driving time. Think twice before you use them!
The employees were great, the owners/Brian and Cody are dishonest and came up with additional fees which were never disclosed. I would not ever use this dishonest company again. Movers beware use another company. One star for the employees and zero for the dishonest owners
Used them Last week for a move from Boise to Eagle. A few months prior we had an employee of theirs out to our home to walk the house and bid the job to move us (spent about an hour at our home looking at every room). We were told 4-5hrs and around 1k dollars to move everything. We were also told it maybe less due to off season and mid week move times. These movers were the worst. I was told they had experienced movers. One had 1 week experience and the other had 3 months. They tracked in drt and oil on my newly cleaned carpet. They made a huge scratch on my hardwood floor. I was told I would be contacted by the office during the move, I wasn't. They arrived a half hour early and I wasn't ready, they still charged for that half hour. They chatted with the neighbors while I was being charged.
