Things were going well, until one of the technicians misplaced a bag of hardware after taking apart some furniture. They were unable to reassemble them at the new house, so we had to figure it out ourselves. Customer service told us to write a claim for the parts, but it's $10 in hardware and two hours in labor for us to put things together (that we didn't take apart) ourselves. It was a rough experience for several thousand dollars. Would not recommend.

The movers themselves were great! They were fast and efficient and generally careful with my belongings. However, the scheduling/management people left a lot to be desired. They told me on Sunday that my movers would be at my home between noon and 1 pm. They arrived at 1:30. They were fast, but some furniture got damaged (1) box with our comcast modem is missing!! expensive move for us.
Lover charge,no documents for all fees, one total only. quoted cost double from actual billing
The actual movers were great, no complaints. The problem is that the salesperson did a bait and switch. After describing the move, I was told that two movers could do the job in 3 or 4 hours. 3 days before the move, the dispatcher called to confirm details and tells me he will not send two people because the job requires 4. He is right and 4 people took about 4 hours, but the rate was nearly doubled. If I had known that the rate would have been what it was, I would have kept shopping. Bait and switch should be illegal.
Save your time and money avoid them. Not honest, not upfront, you will end up paying more and billed incorrectly.
Too many hidden costs.
My advice is to have someone managing the job with a very watchful eye? Confirming accurate start and stop times, travel times between distances, speed limit allowances for what the truck is allowed to drive, and being extremely clear about what stays vs what goes? Do they take lunch breaks? If so, will that push the total time frame into overtime charges for me? Etc. The clock is ticking from the moment they arrive so every second counts.
