they lady came out and bosted about how long she's been doing this. then insisted that I needed 8 men and two eighteen wheelers to move my 4 bedroom home for 297 miles from Houston Texas to Dallas Texas and tried to rob me by giving me an estimate of over $27,000.00 . I have moved 37 times and only used 4 men and paid less than $5,000. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HEARD OF SUCH A HORRIBLE THING. Very disappointed. Made an appointment for a move. Before the move was told they aren’t able to accommodate the time I had arranged because it will be too hot outside. Was forced having to find a last minute mover. Very unprofessional. Don’t commit to something you can’t accommodate.
This company is completely evil. Read yelp reviews! Quoted 400. Crew was deliberately slow and took seven hours to move the contents of a dorm Room seven minutes away, with a bill of 1245.00!! Worst of all, the crew stole a box (use it was marked, stupid me) full of jewelry and watches, irreplaceable items. I’m heartbroken and feel so violated.
I highly recommend that you DO NOT use All My Sons for your move. I wish I had chosen another moving company. Missing item, damaged furniture, unprofessional. From the very first call, the representative (who you’ll never speak to again) is quick to sell you on the services and quality of care All My Sons intends to provide. We have used this company twice before in the last year, spending in excess of $6,000. So we needed a moving company again. so, why not, we thought, so we booked them to be on site at 9:30 a.m., we were called the day before to confirm, but at 9:45 no sign, so we called at 9:50. We were told, as the crew worked late the night before, it might be 3 p.m. before they turned up! We will never use them and never recommend them to anyone. Still waiting for our deposit back.
I am a neighbor of a customer. Yesterday their truck was illegally parked in the wrong direction and in the middle of the street making it impossible to pass on either side. I asked them to move the truck just 3’ closer to the curb so I could get by. They told me to back up and find another route, but this was the only route to my house due to construction on the only other street. Absolute garbage company. I called for a manager 4 separate times with no return call after the movers damaged $2000 worth of furniture and received a settlement offer they claim above market value at $200. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A $1600 (without taxes and shipping) dresser. Along with a rug that was also damaged, and another entire dresser that is demolished. I am very disappointed with All my Sons. I had used them before and they did a great job but my move earlier this month was an awful experience. The team of 3 showed up so do my move. One of the movers kept saying it was not all going to fit in their truck and the crew chief kept saying it would. After 7 hours of them loading, rearranging, reloading they admitted it was not all going to fit. The problem is they moved and squeezed items so much that they damaged several items.
