Horrible moving experience!! Brought a rental truck that was too small. Paid for 3 men and 2 of them were new on the job and clueless. Damaged furniture. As they were putting a $2500 dresser on the truck, they dropped it! Very damaged. A couple of drawers difficult to open. Owners were notified and said they would assess and send me a claim package! Number 1 - Stop price gouging and lieing to your customers!
Dealing with this moving company was the worst experience I've ever had. Not only did they PURPOSELY underbid in order to overcharge us when they were finished, they charged us for the time they wasted. They lost small pieces from one of shelves, hit the walls of my house, left a dark mark from their shoes on my carpet. When I pointed it out to them, they called their home office and they response was that they were going to send us carpet cleaner for ME to clean their mess. They estimated $700 after knowing all of the details of my move (how many rooms, how many beds, how many big pieces of furniture, what floor I was on, how far away my new location was, how far I was from the moving truck to my apartment, etc. etc.) yet somehow the final total was right at $1700!! How in the hell do you get ALL the details and then the estimate is THAT far off? It's bad business practice to estimate a project that is so far off when you do this kind of work day in and day out. Several things went wrong. Even went through state agency which I had to keep reminding of the damage, non-disclosures on consumer rights and information they are mandated to distribute and the time they took while on the clock at my move. One, they nicked a few items somewhat dismissed it. When I set my TV up, DAMAGED! $1,100 TV, was offered $35 since they go by "weight" on insurance. They yelled at our neighbor who kindly asked them to move their truck from blocking her driveway. Not only that the man called her name I will not type on Facebook in front of her child. Horrible!
The WORST moving experience I’ve ever had!! I would never recommend them unless you’d like your 1 day moving process to turn into 4! On the day of the move (Thursday) not only were they late, they arrived and complained about the move. Then in the middle of the move the movers began fighting at my house to the point where I felt very uncomfortable. Not to mention they dropped some of our wood equipment.
