DON’T EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Looking back, no wonder they were so kind to me. They still wanted to get more money out of me for the second move from the storage facility to our new house. If you like unexpected price increases before they finish unloading (hostage taking of furniture), lost items, and multiple scratches on your furniture, this is the company for you. Figured you get what you pay for, this was definitely not the case with this company. Beware!!!
I was up at 4am and packed everything so all they had to do was move it; no appliances. I had called Swift movers and paid them a $50 Deposit only to get the run around of can't today maybe tomorrow and last but not least, today, we are at Houston, TX airport and being delayed til 5pm so I called the movers listed by first letter of the alphabet A for All. This place I would never ever recommend! For the price, it was absolutely outrageous and still no one will get back to me!! I did the 2 hour minimum and the 1 hour of drive time they require, so add that up at $159.00 a hour... it took them one hour to load my small 950 square foot apartment up and then one hour drive time to my new place (which was not a hour away but only 18 minutes) then it took less then a hour to unload my stuff from the truck because I had others helping (which the movers said was fine it would cut dow... read more
WWWWWWWWWorst representation of a professional moving company I have ever experienced. We made it clear in several conversations it was only a couple big items of furniture and several storage bins and boxes of belongings, and when the movers arrived they still tried to take more than what was pointed out to for them to move out. What they had to move to a different unit 2 bldgs. away could have taken me and another person an hour. They moved like sloths that only could be on account they were trying to overcharge. I went with All My Sons because of the positive reviews. I am disappointed with my experience with them. The cost was higher than expected. In the middle of the move their truck broke down and they had to wait for a replacement which I understand as an unforeseen problem but they did not make me aware when it happened and I only found out after I called them to see what the delay was.
