I only had furniture (no boxes or clothing) for them to move-and not much of that, really. Even they said it would be a piece of cake. We got off to a late start-like 90 mins late. They did a good job on the front end-dealing with a SLOW elevator did not seem to bother them. They worked quickly and efficiently. The unloading was not so good. The entire process of moving with this company ends up being complicated, and not at all what they say it will be. Long story shortened, I was quoted one price however, after 10 hours of wrapping and dragging feet (3 workers, 1100sqft), I was told my actual price was 3x?s the quoted amount. MY PROPERTY WAS HELD ON TRUCK UNTIL I PAID! PLUS, 1/3 of my household items were still in the apartment! Deceiving.
They did a bait and switch. It was one price over the phone. Then they increased the price during the move.
There was damage to some of my furniture and sections of the wall in my old house. I tried reaching out to the representative and he has not returned my email.
Misleading estimate. Overcharged.
I was grossly overcharged. I have been calling and emailing and have been brushed off, ignored, or assured that the issues would be resolved and then the person promising to resolve the issue disappears. The crew was very friendly, but slow, careless, and reeked of weed. I do not care if you smoke, I just want my furniture undamaged and my boxes right side up.
Bunch of hidden fees. They charge for things that they don't use.
