I would NOT recommend this company to my enemy. They sent one experience person with three other that broke an expensive cocktail table, broke a piece of the hand railing, knock the computer thermostat off the wall and cracked it. Custom service told to have replace and I pay for and they reimburse me. Also turn in a claim voucher but they didnt know how long it would take to get reimbursed. Eddys team, you guys rock! Tetris masters and hard working. However your guy in the office I am not too thrilled with. Needed my stuff moved 7 miles to a 10x10 storage unit. Also asked about 2nd load to the dump in opposite direction. I live in Roy. Was told no problem. A week before I called to cancel. Afraid was going to be too expensive once realized they are out of SLC. The guy convinces me it is not. Even arranges to move date up. They give a deceptive initial quote in. They quoted labor $/hr that applied from time of arrival at pick up location to time of departure from unload location. They did not identify any other costs; as if there were no other costs. I secured their services based on that quote. A week later, they identified all costs that, in addition to the abovementioned cost, included an hour travel time at the labor $/hr rate (travel to/from their office location), and 20% added for gas,
The "experienced movers" management promised me broke a lot of my property, dumped breakable into boxes like it was trash. Destroyed expensive monitors and computer parts by just shoving them in boxes. Overall. I couldn't be more disappointed and heartbroken. Only decent thing was customer service and management were very supportive, and is helping me work through the claims process to replace my broken items.
Contrary to the promises made by their sales staff, the labor was anything but careful -- I sustained damage to furniture and walls in my new home and *surprise* they will not return my emails or phone calls about reimbursement for damages. Take heed of this company.
They arrived without ANY tools to disassemble furniture which I was told they do. Lucky we had a screw driver. When we arrived at our new residence they almost left without placing a mirror back on a dresser once again lucky I had a screwdriver oh and yes we had to screw the rest of the screws to both beds so we had to also place mattresses back on beds. Never will I use them 1,100 dollars for not even a full home.
They broke my furniture Refused to move my boxes upstairs (which is what I paid for) and they took off their masks when my back was turned
They sent three young men and they were all very nice. Two of them tried to work hard and one just kind of tried to be in charge. They were exhausted by the time they got to my small job and had very little energy. They worked jobs before mine and just were worn out.
Working with this company was a nightmare. They will work very hard to get your business but hold your furniture hostage until you pay them in full. This I understand but not at twice the price you anticipated paying. I was shocked when my 900sq ft if furniture cast me $1678 to have them move it. It took all day for them to arrive and 7 hours to move my furniture. I only had one bedroom set to move, a dining room set, and two sofas with boxes and misc items.
