Poor customer service. Processed an online order with free shipping. Was told after the fact that I either needed to pick up or pay $99!! Closest store is 30 minutes away and would require mutliple trips to pick up all items. Customer service was not understanding and not helpful.

Wow, nearly fifteen years since I worked there, customer service is still as terrible as ever. American Sale is one of the worst companies in the Chicago area, for retail and to work for. I delivered hot tubs and pool tables there, and remembering going to customer's houses they would tell me how bad the customer service was at the store they shopped at, and also how much the sales person lied to them. If I could give these people ZERO stars I would. Worst customer service ever!!!!!! Someone from the Tinley Park after being extremely rude on the phone hung up on me. I tried calling back 4 times and they repeatedly picked up and hung up. Tried to call many locations & no one could tell me who answered or even cared to help me!!! Will never shop at another American Sale after this experience

Worst customer service I have ever received. Employees are truly not happy to be there & speak ill of corporate, where price adjustments come from. Unusual & inconvenient hours. Warehouse employees run out to lock the doors when they see cars pulling up at 5:50pm (close time is 6pm), on parking lot cameras. I will never shop here again, no matter how discounted the cheap decorations are.
