Despite the negative reviews I see posted on Yelp for this store, I can only describe my personal experience with American Sale's customer service as outstanding. I ordered 3 sets of LED Christmas lights from their website on November 19 and received them on November 28. When I opened them to test the lights and make sure they worked, I discovered that a remote was missing from one of the sets. I emailed American Sale on November 28, requesting a replacement remote. As of today 11/9/2012, I have a new pool in my back yard!!! It was installed by a company 100x better than the company who installed the first defective pool!!!! There isn't even a single wrinkle in the liner!!! (unlike the previous liner) Apparently, American Sale worked some sort of magic, because the new replacement pool arrived at my house about a week ago, and the top notch company they hired came out this week to complete the job!! After a few consecutive BAD EXPERIENCES with American Sales, I found Cynthia Boilek who assisted my next two purchases (Jumbo Springfree Trampoline, and an Olhausen Select Series Custom Pool Table) with time, attention, great customer service, and delivered a quality sales experience on both occasions. I have purchased a all my lights from here in the past and had great luck with service and selection. So when I needed a couple more strands because of some vandals. I came here. I had heard before the holiday's that there was going to be a shortage. But I chalked it up to the media creating a mad dash to spark the economy. They did a good job because I have never seen the shelves so empty. Only the crappy one's were left. But they still have a lot of tree's and decorations.

BUYER BEWARE!! I would give it zero stars if I could but the system doesn't allow you to. We bought an outdoor patio at the Tinley outlet location. We got sold a bill of goods, as they had marketed this patio set to be supposedly over 6k original price and we thought we were scoring big time with end of year sale for 2k! It was important to us to buy a table that was low maintenance and can sustain being left outside year round with proper protection. We have called this location three times because we did not receive two deliveries. No one has bothered To call us back. Horrible delivery service. How can you say something is on its way to be delivered and suddenly it is out of stock? Very suspect. It would be nice if the company was just honest. We also bought an outdoor wicker sectional. The cushion that was missing has still not been delivered. The woman said she didn't really know where it was and didn't see it on the order. They did dojjhsomething right!! ... read more

This is the absolute worst place we have ever dealt with!!! We ordered a hot tub in the middle of July of last year and still have no idea when we are getting it almost a year later. They have told us so many lies that we just can't keep up with them anymore. The new manager at the Tinley store is so rude and hateful when we try to call to find out information.
