Bought a pool spent five thousand. Install company was a bunch of young kids who owner left and didnt supervise. My pool is crooked, bulging on two sides, not even, and one side is higher then the other. Looks like they went around your pool yesterday with their tripod/scope and showed you that the pool was indeed level. There wasn't any leaning happening. Service Department never picks up. After spending $8K on hot tub and having them always service it through the years reliable service and part supplies for Hot Springs are not in stock. Company came out to service heater in 2017 and replaced for $800 but did not change thermo coupler which came with new heater. This place sucks!! They are more expensive on just about everything over The Great Escape! Shock is cheaper too!! I visited this location on a Saturday and they were out of shock. Spent some time walking in to look at their gazebo, sun shelters etc. We found one that we liked and asked if they would price match as their unit was over $500 higher than their competition. The "sales guy" said he couldn't do anything so we asked well why would we buy this from you? You add zero value, can't compete on price and act disinterested in doing business. If you could short sell this company, do it now. You'll make a fortune.

They owned and ran a halloween store at 160th and Harlem in Tinley Park. They had crazy good prices but the talk lanky manager told me they would be open on Monday Nov 2nd for the last day. He told me this on Nov 1st. I drive here it's 1030 am and the guy moving stuff around on the inside says he was wrong that they are not open. WTF. Drove here for nothing.
One of the sales persons scammed another sales person out of a commission for our pool filter and then sold us a ladder that wouldn't fit our pool and then refused to let us return it. Apparently this person was a manager. Very poor business practice and customer service is crabby and has an extreme lack of expertise and professionalism. Do not shop this location.
I have been a great customer to American Sales for the last 15 years spending approx $15,000-$20,000 with them. I consider myself a loyal customer until recently when I was treated very bad by the assistant store manager at this store whose name is Melissa. She got very frustrated that she could not find my order that I paid for over the phone and told me to come back tomorrow. I told her I could not do that and then she stopped helping me. Customer service department is a HUGE failure to take care of an issue that I have called about 3 weeks ago & went to the corporate store. The 'District Manager' was suppose to call, I guess you really don't care about the customer who has spent thousands of dollars on a pool,hot tub & accessories in your stores.
