I would leave 0 stars if it was an option. This was by far the worst service I've ever had in my life. I had an inground pool put in and was given a total price of $22,000. Chris at American sales in Tinley park was the least professional person I've ever dealt with. He got his money and never returned a phone call. On top of that, he had my wife do all of the work. RUN AWAY! So we purchased an Artisian 850b spa in July/August of this year for $6700 had it only a short while, no one was wiling you help set up the hot tub or give advice on how to set it up. The company only wanted to push selling me more chemicals. I called at least 12 times trying to get help. Then I only had the damn spa a few weeks a the water fall wasn't flowing out properly it came out crooked. I purchased a patio umbrella from American Sales last July, and it ended up breaking in less than a year, they've told me that the part that's broken isn't covered under my warranty... which is very convenient for THEM, so the part cost me 45 dollars plus tax, and if i want them to replace the part it would be an additional $120 dollars. Beware of ordering online. I ordered over a month ago an item which was at the Tinley Park location, but requested the item to be transferred to the Lansing location since it's closer to home. So, I had called multiple times at both locations since I never received a notification to pick up my item. Kept getting the runaround. Finally, yesterday I got a voicemail from someone from this location that unfortunately the item I had ordered was no longer available. Disappointed. They need to improve overall.

Bought a 120k pool from these losers. It self destructed over night and they said it was my fault so too bad. Well let's see, their salesman that handled my job was let go for embezzling for years at this company. They should have made him president of this place as the current one is a huge crook. A third party pool company came and worked on it for hours to repair a huge number of mistakes that american sale had done. Most importantly they left out a safety interlock cover switch. The sales person manipulated and enhanced the delivery experience and details which cost us additional dollars and trouble. They ignored my complaints after several attempts. I felt the salesperson was not honest and took advantage of a 61yr Old female having no expectations or knowledge of owning a hot tub. I took many notes as we as speaking to the electrician in front of the salesman. Very disappointed that American sales did not handle it honestly

Bought a pool spent five thousand. Install company was a bunch of young kids who owner left and didnt supervise. My pool is crooked, bulging on two sides, not even, and one side is higher then the other. They broke a part on my filter/pump and replaced with cheap junk cause he said he didnt have time to run to them or his shop to get the right part. Pool leeking. Service Department never picks up. After spending $8K on hot tub and having them always service it through the years reliable service and part supplies for Hot Springs are not in stock. Company came out to service heater in 2017 and replaced for $800 but did not change thermo coupler which came with new heater. This place sucks!! They are more expensive on just about everything over The Great Escape! Shock is cheaper too!! I visited this location on a Saturday and they were out of shock. When I asked the bald older gentlemen if they were out of shock he said no I'm busy? WTF seriously?! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
