!! Please read the reviewers on (Hidden by Airbnb) before booking through Poconos Rentals !! They cancelled our reservation within 24 hours of check-in (now after reading the reviews on (Hidden by Airbnb) I see this same situation happened to sever other) the house they put us in was $200 less a night and we booked for 3 nights, we should have received a $600 refund (and the representative reassured us that we would receive $600) however we only got a $128 refund due to fees this company had to pay to Airbnb. The house was very clean and the space as advertised, with dinner tables suitable for a large group and an great open concept kitchen/living room great for hanging out in. It’s nicely located right between two mountain resorts but about 20-30 min from both. The amenities, however were not exactly as advertised for us. The hot tub did not get hot and the sauna door does not close to allow for the sauna to maintain a good temperature. This home was very cute and secluded with a beautiful view of the mountains. Also only a 30 min drive from the slopes. That said, I found the overall value to be a bit lower than expected and a little overpriced. Our 6-person family had a nice weekend getaway here but it would be a tight squeeze for any more than 10 guests. Additionally, instructions on how to arrive and house rules were unclear. Communication with hosts was also rather difficult at times and a bit patronizing.
Overall our stay was adequate. The house was nice and spacious. We were not able to check-in at the designated time due to the cleaning company running behind schedule. The dishwasher was still loaded with dishes upon arrival and there were no dishwasher tablets. There was also no hand soap in the main bathroom or trash bags for recyclables. The space is great for large families. We had 18 people stay (including kids) and all slept/stayed comfortable. They advertise a pool but when we arrived there was none. Granted it is October in the poconos and most likely we’re not going to use it but at least it could’ve been communicated to us that it was not there. I feel like we paid for a pool that was not there. There was a foul odor that lingered on the second floor. Not sure if it was pesticide, a dead mouse or the vents. Worst company ever. They notified us same day of our Check in date that the jacuzzi isn’t working. I request to speak to a manager but no response! We continued with our booking, on our 2nd night of our stay the neighbor made a complaint about noises and the company forced us out of the property and sent the sheriff. We got 7 kids playing outside. It’s a shame our family couldn’t enjoy our stay. We won’t be returning to this company ever again! WARNING! Stay away from this company!

The guest was evicted for having music on and loud laughter at 12:18 am. No respect for the house rules, local law, ordinances, neighbors, or the community. This was the first time we ever had to resort to evictions, but it was necessary. The renter was placed on DO NOT RENT list as well.
