Overall, we had a nice trip and made the best of this booking experience but had some serious issues with the management company, amenities (hot tub) and the water. First of all, this is not worth the $1,400 we paid a night. They did a nice job updating the house but the amenities like the hot tub do not work, the management company was extremely unhelpful, the cleaning crew was late and not wearing masks, the location is not great, the finishes look chic but they are incredibly cheap and the water had a serious iron issue w... read more

On a rare occasion, we have to drain the hot tub water prior to guest arrival due to previous guest miss-use of the hot tub. In that event, the hot tub will take overnight to heat. The guest was not able to use the hot tub one night as it was not hot enough. The house has an advanced water filtration system, which had to be reset at the time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property. The large kitchen, the deck, the skylights and gas fireplace in the living room, and the dining room were all very nice. However, some of the photos in the listing are not accurate: 1. Photo shows 2 couches in the game room, but there were no couches in the game room. 2. Photo shows speaker system in the game room, but the speakers are not useable (no receiver), which was pretty misleading. 3. This was an extremely disappointing stay for us. The property had a plethora of issues - some were housekeeping related, and some intrinsic to the house itself. For starters, cleanliness was a key issue. One of the reasons we chose this house, was because of its supposed focus on sanitizing & cleanliness. We were 3 families that went with expectations as stated in the pictures and notes by the host but was cheated with soo many issues experiencing that was not told to us ahead. Pictures were a lie showing it’s renovated apartment but it’s in fact 20-30 year old look. Pool was dirty, big black ants and daddy long legged spiders in the house, no pest control inside or outside done, dryer didn’t work so had to dry clothes on the railings of the house, poor furniture that easily breaks. I booked this place even seeing the bad review about its cleanliness regarding the pool and hot tub hoping the owners would do something about it. Unfortunately when we got there it was the same. There was a screw inside the pool and the hot tub was really dirty. The owners claimed they cleaned it and said it was due to the rain that the pool was dirty. Unless it would rain screws i would understand having a screw inside the pool and how would a COVERED hot tub be dirty if it was "cleaned and covered" before we checked in. I... read more

Make sure you ask of all the major appliances work and if they have any leaks.
I killed about 50 house flies and saw about 10 carpenter ants. I'm more concerned about house flies seeing they come from maggots. The inside was somewhat clean although there were pots and pans that were dirty (probably should discard them). Old worn out rugs in kitchen and family room. Laundry room floor around the washer and drier was dirty. There were clothes left in the dryer when we arrived. House was overall a good experience, however there was some amenities that were not up to my expectations. The biggest issue for me had to be the pool. I had many kids and I was worried about the pool not filtering properly. After only the second night there the pool was green. I couldn’t get the fire pit to turn on. Lastly, the freezer wasn’t working the way it should have. But overall, my family enjoyed it.
