It’s an ok house for a small group families
The place was a beautiful place I have to at least give them that. Location was okay. Before you go ahead and book check out or ask for all the house rules before you get hit with a $500 fine for the smallest thing . I don’t recommend this place for a large group of people that are looking to have some fun and enjoy their stay. It is just TOO MANY RULES.
When we reserved this place, they stated that we could receive complimentary early check in and late checkout if we request it. When we requested it, they said it would be a $100 charge for each. When we got there, it was unclear where the key was or how to enter the premises. We had to walk around the house twice to find the lock box. Then we found that the pool was dirty and the jacuzzi was BROKEN. Beautiful house, great location. The pool was a bit dirty, and they had delay with the cleaning (the house wasn’t ready at 4pm) other than that we really loved the house and the location.
This was the first time that we drove up and were immediately disappointed. The home was not maintained (grass not mowed, front door broken, screens missing from windows). When entering the home, there was a musty smell and the list of issues began. I started contacting All Poconos and received immediate responses, but no action was taken until a call to the office. Great location. House has great potential, but needs some maintenance and updating. Some furniture in pictures not in rental (breakfast/dining table). Lots of great space for lots of people, but the water pressure is low and hot water heater couldn't keep up with just the 6 of us, so filling this house with people will mean showers are a huge challenge. Great view of nature, hot tub has some challenges, and the grounds need landscaping attention.
