Took my neighbors dog and pup. I was distraught. I had never dealt with a dog having pups. One of the girls tossed the pup at me and said take it home and keep it warm. Would not look at the mom until they got 1500.00 dollars up front. Was only going 19 minutes to get the credit card. They loaded her up and sent her with me...never use this doc. My boys will not. Thank god I found a great vet, lost one pup during all this, now they are taking the other. Mom is doing fine. Vet is paid.
It's 11:00pm, they are the only vet other than Dothan that is open. We are an hour away from the beach. When we called, Britney said it would be $150 up front, plus whatever else they had to do. they do not care about animals lady over the phone told me id have to pay 150 upfront for my dog whos very sick shakey falling over drooling and wont eat and cant sleep and wont drink none of these vets care !! its all about money ! ill make sure and tell EVERYONE do not take ur babies here !!
Avoid this place at all costs! I just boarded my dog there while on vacation for 8 days and when i picked him up he has severe diarrhea, vomiting, full of fleas, a big red bump on his hip and he lost almost 2 pounds in 8 days while being boarded there!!! When i called to express my concerns the staff placed me on hold for 20 minutes only to return and try and sweep everything under the rug and blame me. Worst customer service I have ever received. The office got my animal sick and they wanted to charge me again to bring it back. There excuse was that I took the risk of bringing my animal to them so it wasn't there fault. They were very rude. All I was asking for was to possibly get some antibiotics that I was willing to pay for. They refused to wave the office fee and said I probably got the car sick. I can no longer recommend this hospital for animal care. Recently I needed to get a Health Certificate for shipping a puppy to CA. I was told none of the vaccines I had given my puppy were acceptable because they were not administered by a licensed vet. I have been administering my own vaccines purchased from a pharmaceutical company for over 43 years. I have been raising, breeding and showing dogs for longer than most of these vets have been alive!
