Animal Care Clinic Front Beach Rd Panama City Beach, Fl. My teenage daughter rushed a small kitten into the clinic that flew out of the back of a truck on the highway and these people were awful. She begged them to help the kitten that was bleeding and crying and they refused to help without a full payment of at least $700. They were rude and awful to my crying child who just wanted to help this kitten. We offered them $300 if they would just clean the wounds and give her something for pain. My daughter was balling her eye... read more

Corrupt practice, there for the money and (most) staff/doctors do not truly care for your pets. They will do their best to tack on any extra cost that they can to drive up your bill. There are a bunch of vets on the beach and in town, I'd drive to southport before I brought my fur babies to this vet ever again.

High Price. Lacking Compassion (not all employees). They are there for the job, not the patients...or their employees.

So it’s about 3:30 I’m driving down the road and we see this Animal fall out and roll underneath a truck going about 90 ( I was going 70 and they just passed me) so I turned around and picked up this kitten less than 3 months old. And it has scrapes along its head, it’s paws are completely raw, and it’s back left leg looked filleted almost. So we google the nearest vet and woah and below it’s about a hour away so we call ahead to see if they’ll be available and we haul ass over there. My girlfriend is in my passenger seat in... read more

They are all about money, not about doing whatever it takes to save your dog.

My dog had a BAD seizure on Dec 29,2019. It was so bad her pink tongue turned dark purple, almost black from the lack of oxygen to her brain. I called and told them what happened and that we just loaded her in the truck and were bringing her in. The girl on the phone asked if she was still seizing. She had stopped but still wasn't "right". She told me if she wasn't actively seizing there was nothing they could do. Being in the medical field, I knew this was complete BS. How about a sedative to calm her? Or seizure meds in ca... read more

It's truly sad when a caretaker cares more about the profit than the patient; but that's exactly how it is with this center. They refuse to give my pet her medications until I can pay for more x-rays and blood work, even though she has already been diagnosed; all I asked for was more time to get the tests and one more refill on her medications and the answer was a clear "no". That's fine. I will be taking my pets somewhere else! How can they improve? Grow a heart!

Business response:

We would like nothing more than to refill your pet's medications but in order to do that we do need to be able to monitor the condition we are treating. We have continued to fill these medications for 8 months, ultimately informing you last month that it would be the final refill until a doctor is able to assess your pet's condition. We would be happy to discuss this matter further; please call and ask to speak to a member of the Management Team.

The staff is super friendly and they are able to get you in quickly.. But they will turn a simple visit into a full exam and charge you an arm and a leg-- so if you go just make sure you talk to them about what they are giving your animal and if it's needed. I won't stray from vetspets again!

Business response:

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience with us. This is why we make sure our clients agree to any treatment plan up front before performing any diagnostics and/or treatments. However, I am so happy we were able to provide top quality care to your fur baby in your time of need! If there is something we could have done differently to make your visit more enjoyable, please let us know. We are happy to speak with you! 850-708-2990
