I use to give this place a 5 star rating but after my last visit I have to change my review. This place is a total dump. It's dirty, tables and tools are not cleaned between pets, the customer service is lacking to say the least and it seems everyone who works there hates their job. I over looked all of these things for years b/c of the prices and decent vet care. It seems now they have jumped on the band wagon of over charging clients for services they dont need. My rating is NOT for entire Animal Clinic location, but just for the person that answer my phone today. I recently become a dog owner. I am searching for a good location for vacines cost and serices and all needs for my dog. I totally agree that this Animal Clinic has a better deal on cost of vacines compare to other place out on the market. It could be because the price is great of low cost, so the customer services is quite not that expected, especially pick-up phone services. When I moved the last time, around 2 years ago or so, I gave this clinic my new address for the reminder postcard letting me know my dog's shots were due. Completely forgot about em until a good 7 months later or so, mostly because I never got a reminder (yeah, yeah, grown woman should remember when her dog's once-a-year shots are due). Planning to take your dogs to Animal Clinic of Farmers Branch? Think TWICE! I decided to try out this place but the hassle, heartache and horrible customer service were not worth the money saved. Too bad Zero stars isn't an option! I am furious after my experience with this clinic today! I have used them for several years and while never being impressed by the terrible customer service, I have always been pleased by the level of care received from the veterinarians and the cost of treatment we have received. I have been bringing my dogs here for the last 20 years and until now have received good treatment at a reasonable prices. My lab ingested a small block of Bromadiolone (Rat Poison) and poison control infomed me that the antidote is vitamin K1 and must begin within 24 hours. I will not address this man as "Dr." Murray. Mr. Murray is a pompous jerk. In my last two visits he wouldn't even examine my cat. I took her in for a UTI and upper respiratory infection. There were obvious symptoms and I had just had her in 3 weeks before. she is an old cat. He first asked for her to be gassed to examine her, she only needed a shot of antibiotics. We originally chose this vet for reasonable prices. However, as an older review has mentioned, the front desk service is horrible....you clearly feel like you are an inconvenience. Recently, we had our dog was injured and bleeding non-stop. We called this vet and were told that as long as we were there before 5pm the dog could be seen. Worst Customer Service EVER! I would never go there - couldn't get past the woman on the phone. Doesn't know HOW to answer a phone. I had heard that the customer service was bad but that their prices where low - so I though I could for go the customer service - NOT. I'd rather pay more.
