I've used them since about 1970 and one of my many step fathers had used them growing up in Carrollton. Although the ladies are grumpy at the desk, probably under paid and overworked, because of the price being so reasonable I always go back, but that is over if the lady Dr. with the long disheveled dark hair, crossed eyes and funny rumpled clothes is there! Extrememly affordable but don't be fooled- their website says they are open until 5 but the staff will close up shop early.
I am very disappointed with this clinic. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Each time I bring my dog in, I'm told he's about to pass away but it's been two years and he's still living life the way he normally does. I was never given any options regarding his health other than to stop vaccinating him and discontinue check ups because he didn't have much time left. Make sure you call AHEAD and ask if they are having a 3 HOUR staff meeting. Oh, and when you call ahead they'll still be rude to you, because well, that's what they live to do... I came here before with one cat and everyone was rude except the vet, and I just accepted that since it is so cheap. This time I brought my new cat, which by the way is an old cat I adopted and is very needy. This place deserves less than one star. This morning around 11:40am I went into Vet Clinic of Farmers Branch with my roommate and our dog due to a skin infection. When we got there my roommate was told we could not be seen. We hadn't been there with our dogs before so we were confused as to why. So when we asked the receptionist brought a file with my roommates dads name up and said we were not to be seen since he complained about the horrible customer service online and said some rude things over the phone. Wish there was a way to give 0 stars. Worst front desk staff I have ever encountered. We used to bring our animals here and dealt with the incredibly RUDE staff just to save some money, but this morning was definitely the last time we ever step foot in this place. Only go here if you need shots. They are cheap. If there is anything urgent, they will take your money and send you to a specialist. Or in my most recent case, they took blood work on my sick cat on a Thursday morning, said they would have results the following day (Friday) or worst case Saturday morning. I called several times on friday, and even more on Saturday. After many years of using this vet, I can confirm that I will never set foot in this place again. The employees are bitter and lack any empathy. I rushed my dog Bruiser there at 7 am yesterday morning as soon as I noticed him experiencing shortness of breath. I was early, and this place gets packed quickly, but I was seen right away. I only picked 1 star because I had to. I had to put my dog down the beginning of December of 2016 and the lady at the front desk told me that they don't deal with cremations. I had to wait for them to call me. A month later no call, I called the guy who does cremations and he said he took my dog back the next day. I call them and wow, they found her after 10 minutes of looking. I never received a phone call about my dog who I had for 17 years, my very first dog I ever had.
