My husband and I arrived here last month only to have our favor family member, Alex, our pet bird, coming down with some kind of illness. After calling around and trying to find a veterinarian to take care and to help us, we found Dr. Rill. Thank goodness for him. We only have the best regards for his expertise! Thank you to all the members at the University Animal Clinic and especially to Dr. Rill. We can only recommend you as THE BEST!
If anyone decides to judge the University Animal Clinic from these reviews, I to would like to recommend that they pay attention only to us that have been exceptionally pleased with only the best care ever for our pets. I to am a snowbird and find that I prefer to wait until coming south in the winter to have even my basic yearly things taken care of by Dr. Rill and his staff.
Thank you Dr. Rill and Staff for being the Best in Sarasota / Manatee
This is best clinic I have ever been to. The Doctors and Staff are the most understanding people..
A friend told me about the several negative reviews and I had to write in to clear up some issues. I am sure the bad reviews pertain to the Emergency Clinic next to University Animal Clinic. I brought my very elderly bulldog in on an emergency basis as he too had eaten a sock. Dr. Rill operated on him immediately, an operation that lasted for over two hours. All other non-emergency surgeries were post-poned while he took care of my old boy. We are greatful to Dr. Rill and his entire staff for the love and care they have alwa... read more
This clinic is the best I have ever taken my animals to. We have been "snow birds" for many years so Dr. Bob sees my pets 6 months of the year and my other vet back home sees them the rest of the year. On more than one occasion they have fit me into the schedule when my elderly cat became very ill. Unfortunately she passed away last summer at the age of 20 but thanks to Dr. Bob, she had many good years. We just got a new kitten so here's to 20 more good years with the wonderful people at University Animal Clinic.
After reading some of these negative reviews, I felt compelled to write a 5 star positive review on behalf of this wonderful group of individuals. Not only do they give their hearts and souls to the care of the pets and clients that come in but their professional knowledge and ability excells. I have taken my pets to them for many years and have never had anything but the BEST care for all of them. This hospital has received their AAHA certification, which I understand creates a standard of excellence above all others. I hav... read more
I have been with University Animal Clinic for the last 17 years. I have taken all my pets to Dr. Bob Rill he has saved two of my dogs life , I couldn't ask for a better Vet, His staff has always been very friendly and gives me any information needed. I really like that they will call to ask if they can do extra testing before doing just in case i may have a money problem, They have never turned me away they have always found a way to see my pets.. THANK YOU TO THE DOCTORS AND STAFF AT UNIVERSITY ANIMAL CLINIC Sheree
I found this team of professionals A+. . What a caring, compassionate, VERY knowledgable group. The only veterinarian group, especially Dr, Bob Rill, that I would take my loving pets to. Don;'t know where these other folks went, possibly Animal ER next door that they had such a bad experience. Definitely NOT at the University Animal Clinic ! This group was voted #1 over the last few years and is an AAHA Hospital offering only the top of the line service and care.
