One week ago today, I brought my little Whitley here. She had a temp of 103.8. The vet did an ultrasound and x-ray and reported to me that she had a hemangiomasarcoma on her spleen and needed a splenectomy. My reaction was "she was just fine this morning". She also informed me that with or without surgery--without chemo--my Will-Will would die in 3-5 months. You can only imagine my grief. I said absolutely to the surgery until another person walked in with the "proposal" of $3000-$4700!! She asked me if I wanted a moment to ... read more

Horrible place! Took my cat there, I felt like people were inadequate, I paid $800 for one night, in the morning they called me me to go and take the cat home, and i confirmed the final price with them, it took me around hour and a half to get there so when i did, the price had already gone up because of extra hospitalization fees, although nothing was done to the cat in that hour and a half. I asked the owner to wave the hour and a half of hospitalization charges she turned to me and said "Sorry, this is a business, I'm ... read more

I took my baby there after being hit by a car. They barely paid any attention to him. We were there almost 5 hrs! They told me he didn't have a fractured leg and tried to get me to take more X-rays for of course more money! I did a follow up today with my local vet who showed me the x rays and even as novice as I am, the fracture was clear as day!!!! If you want high quality care that matches the bill, find another ER Vet!

This was the only vet that was open on 9/9 due to Hurricane Irma when our dog starting having breathing and coughing problems. Unfortunately on the car ride to the vet, our dog passed away in my arms. When we got there, they took her in the back. The 2 vet techs that were there were SO SWEET and we appreciate their kindness so much. But the doctor himself, Dr Holifield (the only reason I know his name was because I saw it on facebook, because he didn't even introduce himself in the room with us) REALLY needs to work on h... read more

This is my third visit here, this will be my last. It seems to me they're used to dealing with overly concerned, wealthy people, not with normal people with normal amounts of income. Every time I've been there, they've offered a ridiculously expensive battery of tests without any idea of what the problem may be. This time, almost $1000 worth of tests looking 'for something in his heart' refusing to say what they were looking for. Waited until the morning, took to his regular vet, nothing wrong with his heart, walked out of... read more
