This morning I brought in Jasper, my recently rescued-from-subway-tracks feral cat. Feral cats are by definition unsocialized and "difficult to manage". The plan was for me to leave Jasper at the clinic so he could be sedated, and then have his exam. However, Jasper's team, Dr. Witherell and Maria, veterinary assistant, were calm, easy-going, and performed a miracle. I have been very impressed with the treatment our cat at Animal Kind.. We have visited twice, once for an emergency and once for a routine check up. Dr Witherell and the techs we have interacted with have been quiet, calm, and gentle. Some providers are loud and don't seem to care or notice the animal at all. They took care to reduce stress levels. The follow up was also good and very timely, by email. No, it is not cheap. But show me a cheap vet.

Dr. Witherell (and Drs. Frydomberg and Dr. Mateyak before her) took incredibly care of my disabled mini poodle. Unfortunately, Luna passed away recently at almost 18 years. These veterinarians were the reason for her long and mostly healthy life. I highly recommend Dr. Witherell, she is compassionate, knowledgeable and everything you would want in your animal's life. I will actually miss our visits to her.

Professional and friendly. Both veterinarian and assistant were thorough, patient, and more than happy to answer questions. Will be returning for any of my furry friend's needs.
Can't thank Animal Kind hospital enough for their kindness & care. My senior cat, Toby, who sadly passed away this year, has been a patient at Animal Kind since I adopted him at age 3. In the last 2-3 years, he health started to fail. We brought him to AKV constantly for check-ups and care. AKV has always been very good at helping me managing his symptoms.
