Thank you so much for your assistance in caring for our two cats, Boots and Tiger--15 year old brothers, We brought Tiger into Animal Kind on January 7th. I have been going to Animal Kind for 20 years. The doctors there are knowledgeable, compassionate, extremely smart, dedicated, and kind!!!! They all LOVE animals and treat your animal as their own. Dr. Gibson saved my kitten's life quite a few years ago. She needed immediate surgery to remove the beads on a string she swallowed, and would have died without this immediate intervention. Could not say enough nice things about the staff and the doctors here. Also clean facilities, nice waiting room and front desk staff. We took our elderly kitty here when she was not feeling well, they saw us as a walk in. The doctor even gave follow up and refills over the phone. Recently, we had to put our kitty down and the staff and Dr Werner could not have been more compassionate and thoughtful, talking us through the whole process. This morning I noticed my dog was missing a toenail. I was really worried but luckily animal kind got me in right away. We hurried over and the doctor checked him out. Luckily everything was fine and it was healing fine. Since it was quick appointment the doctor didn't even charge us. It was a great experience
When I became a puppy mom earlier this year I asked various friends about vet recommendations. Animal Kind kept coming up so I decided to give the place a try for our 3 month old puppy to get his vaccines and check up. On our first visit we were late because of traffic on Eastern Parkway. This animal hospital by far is the best in Brooklyn, the receptionists (especially Erica) has been such a sweetheart, I have been going to Animal Kind a little over a year now, an LOVE it. Such a relief to have found a vet who cares!! I have been a dog owner for years and currently have a new puppy and when it became obvious that she had gotten into something and we needed help fast - we found this place and got in late on a Saturday last minute. They are so helpful and accommodating and all of the veterinarians there are equally amazing!! So grateful to have found them!
I've taken my two cats to Animal Kind three times now, and each has been a great experience for all of us. My choice to take my fur babies here was really made by AK's ability to book same-day appointments at convenient times for someone who works 9-5 in Manhattan, after having called other vets that closed much earlier and had wait times of up to a week for an appointment.
