This place is incredible. I have been bringing my dogs there for 14 years now. My little yorkie and I went in after a long walk and she was thirsty and panting. They were so kind to give her a bowl of water and let her take her time drinking it. The doctor we saw was amazing and really gave us her time. I can't say enough positive things about this place.
I was cat-sitting for a friend who was out of town; her cat had been losing weight for a while and she took her to several vets who found nothing wrong with her. When her owner went on vacation, I finally had to take her in because she got even sicker in my care. During this cat's first visit to Animal Kind, they FINALLY did bloodwork, which came back abnormal but at least allowed us to explore treatment options. Very lovely staff from doctor to volunteers to receptionist. Every one was nice. Clean facilities. My cat's vets diagnosed the problem immediately and the surgery was a success. The charges were fair-priced and they worked with my insurance provider without any issue. This place has compassion, knowledge and trust. I had such a wonderful experience - great, clean facility, warm and friendly staff and super knowledgeable doctor. My dog had a very bad reaction to some treats she's been eating - soft stool with fresh blood one day, black, watery diarrhea the next and of course, some vomiting. Needless to say I was super panicked since her condition seemed to worsen. The best thing for me about Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital is that they are willing to help rescuers and will arrange appointments quickly to see stray/feral cats. I do rescue, as needed, whenever unwanted cats appear in the area of my Brooklyn apartment building. I have no space to hold cats for a lengthy period of time. Animal Kind understands this and know that a stray/feral cat does not always show up when you want for trapping! I have rushed my dog ( was scrcatched by an evil stray cat) and was immediately put at ease the counter staff and techs. Lovely people.. also came to my rescue when I pulled an abandoned newborn kitten in bad shape from a construction site. Just beautiful people with beautiful souls. God Bless!

Probably the best vetinary hospital in Brooklyn, if not the entire city. Everyone from the receptionists to the techs and doctors are pleasant, courteous and professional. Appoints are always spot on and never once did I have to wait. on site lab, radiology, ultrasound and operating suites make this a wonderful AAHA certified pet care facility. I love Animal Kind. Knock on wood, I haven't had to bring my fur-baby, Jack, in for emergency care so all of my experience has been with his regular exams and vaccinations. That said, I trust Animal Kind completely with his care. We love Dr. Morehead. I can't stress enough what a pleasure it is to have a vet that listens, has a really good sense of humor and most importantly, sets my sweet Jack at ease immediately.
