RecommendedWe drove 1.5 hrs with our South African Boerboel. She had pyometra. They had her back within 10 minutes and in surgery within 2 hrs. Dr Rawlings was a God sent. Then 2hrs later she was calling with an all good. To say she is my hero is an understatement. God does make Angels and Dr. Rawlings is ours. Thank you for being there when we needed you. The staff were so caring, fast and efficient. My girl is home and so far so good.
The staff is so friendly and supportive, especially when going through an emergency situation. I appreciated their prompt and consistent follow up and transfer of our boy to neurology. Can’t say enoug
Everyone at AAVEC was absolutely great! From the moment we arrived with our girl, we were greeted by friendly, smiling faces. We were asked a lot of questions about what was going on with her, and their knowledge and professionalism brought us confidence and comfort. Yesterday morning was the first time ever needing to rush our dog to the emergency vet and thank god it was this one. After 4 months of seizures with our dog he ended up having a massive one that he couldn’t come out of. We called them immediately at 6 am and told us to come right in and they’d be waiting for us. I had one of the worst days of my life but AAVEC really helped me through it. I called them absolutely panicked at 2am because Dr Google convinced me my dog had bloat. Since I had called ahead they were expecting me when I arrived. She seemed fairly stable after the car ride so we waited about an hour to be seen. The tech very quickly came back out to tell me her vitals were normal but I could get an optional X-ray to be sure. I decided to wait to see what the doctor thought (thinking of the bill). My cat found something else he should not have eaten and had been ill over the weekend. My vet x-rayed the cat, contact AAVEC ER, and off I went. The ER was ready for him, his surgery followed quickly that afternoon, and he is recovering well. The staff was all friendly from front desk to operating theater, all of my questions were answered. They even allowed me daily visits with my cat. Their care and respect for the pets as well as their people is outstanding.
Excellent care, state of the art facility. Dr. Lynch and Dr. Stern took the time to call and update at each step. No hidden costs or surprises. Highly recommend.
They provided expert diagnosis and life saving care along with timely transfer to surgical specialists. Can't say thank you enough!
