We were so thankful for our experience at AAVEC. We brought our beloved 8 yo Rottweiler in with severe pain, who ended up having to be euthanized. The whole staff was knowledgeable, understanding of his behavior, and compassionate to our emotions and situation. We very much appreciate Dr. Coles’ care and attention to the well being of our dog in this circumstance.

Aparently I was careless, and one of my cats, found something that he should not have found. Luckily, I found the situation early, and got advice immediately, and brought my cat, Casey in for monitoring, and care. My 11 year old German Shepherd passed away while I was at work a week ago. I called about 10-15 different places that were of no help. I got in contact with AAVEC and Amanda walked me thru every step of what to do next. My friend and I got my dog to them, and they were so kind and reassuring of how they would handle getting him cremated for me. They genuinely cared and showed sympathy. I have 3 GSD's and all have had some sort of emergency visit here and each time it was always great service. They don't rush you out, answer any questions you may have and everyone is friendly. They really do care about your pets!

Our cat was on top of our garage door and I didn’t know it when I closed the door. He road it down on the outside and was hanging face down when I found him. His paw has been grabbed by one of the panels as it folded closed. He was limping and wouldn’t let us touch it. A little blood. I called Family Vet on Defense Highway and they referred me to AAVER. So although an exam and x-rays itself may not take a lot of time, a patient that is critical (i.e. hit by car, labored breathing) will need immediate care and may cause patients who are considered stable to experience a longer wait time. On Friday we noticed our 1 year old lab wasn't eating, on Saturday we realized it was an emergency. We made the decision to take him to AAVEC where we learned he had ingested a foreign object that was stuck in the intestines. Both doctors we had contact with over his 2 day stay were very informative and patient. They talked us through what was needed and gave us options that fit within our budget. I hope we never have to return but if we do I will always choose AAVEC

To Mr. Kozec, Your card was much appreciated, given my family has only known two pets. Both Chocolate Labradors and both passing when they turned 15. A harsh reality but one that is inevitable.
