Aparently I was careless, and one of my cats, found something that he should not have found. Luckily, I found the situation early, and got advice immediately, and brought my cat, Casey in for monitoring, and care. The staff took excellent care of Casey, and also kept me updated on his condition. I definitely recommend Anne Arundel Vet Emergency Clinic. Thank you and Bless You!

My 11 year old German Shepherd passed away while I was at work a week ago. I called about 10-15 different places that were of no help. I got in contact with AAVEC and Amanda walked me thru every step of what to do next. My friend and I got my dog to them, and they were so kind and reassuring of how they would handle getting him cremated for me. They genuinely cared and showed sympathy. I received my dogs remains about 5 days later and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I received his wooden urn as well as... read more

I want to thank the entire staff for not only being professional but for being so kind and supportive during our visit last night. As a worried parent of a beloved pet, it was wonderful to be greeted by a caring intake staff, then the technician who was so informative and kind to the wonderful doctor, I can only praise our experience. Thank you for being so caring during a scary and stressful time for our pet, Arthur.

Business response:

Thank you, Kellie, for your kind words and positive review of our clinic. We are delighted to hear that our staff provided you and your pet, Arthur, with professional and compassionate care during your visit. We understand that emergencies can be scary and stressful, and we are dedicated to providing support and excellent service to both pets and their worried parents. We hope Arthur is feeling better!

Our cat was on top of our garage door and I didn’t know it when I closed the door. He road it down on the outside and was hanging face down when I found him. His paw has been grabbed by one of the panels as it folded closed. He was limping and wouldn’t let us touch it. A little blood. I called Family Vet on Defense Highway and they referred me to AAVER. The vet says they would send down all his info so it was available upon arrival. I took my own papers just in case. Arrived at 2:43 pm. At 3:45 pm we were still waiting to be... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Joanne. We understand your frustration with the wait time and lack of communication regarding your cat's examination and X-rays. Our veterinarians are limited to how many patients they can see at a given moment. So although an exam and x-rays itself may not take a lot of time, a patient that is critical (i.e. hit by car, labored breathing) will need immediate care and may cause patients who are considered stable to experience a longer wait time. We strive to provide efficient and thorough care fo... read more

We had a little kitten pass away suddenly on Thursday morning (11/9) and we brought her in for confirmation and cremation arrangements. Now the Triage nurse was very warm, kind, and helpful. The receptionist closest to the exam room was also helpful and patient. But, what I didn't appreciate was the snickering and insensitivity displayed from the other 2 receptionists on duty that morning. My fiancé and I were quite distraught about what had happened. Our little girl died suddenly and unexpectedly, and if you're insensitive ... read more
