Our experience today with our injured dog was tremendous!! Everything from the kind folks on the phone making the appointment to Andy and Dr. Anderson, everyone gave my dog loving, complete and competent care. Normally a nervous Nellie, she was relaxed and acted comfy with everyone. In my 50 years of going to vets, ARK was by far, the best experience we have ever had.
Took my cat here today for an urgent care appt when my regular vet didn't have any availability. I was honestly very impressed with how clean and quiet it was, and the exam rooms were really nice compared to most vet offices, and I used to work at one. The staff were lovely - from the receptionist, to the veterinary assistant, and the doctor. When my little dog, Tinky, got sick over the weekend and we couldn't get in to my regular vet, I took her to the Ark. From the moment Betty answered the phone with her soothing voice until the time she was seen by Andi and Dr Mroziak, I felt an incredible amount of care and compassion for my little buddy. They gave me a lot of options in her care and allowed me to wrangle thru them, with their guidance, but without pressure or expectation. Very knowledgeable and compassionate group of folks, who were so professional and kind to my family and our senior dog. We came in, in a total panic, because our little girl suddenly lost her balance and had what we thought was a seizure or stroke. She collapsed and couldn't get back up. We called our vet, and they couldn't see her. They recommended ARK, and we called and they could see her in three hours. We really thought she would die before then. I arrived hysterically at Ark Veterinary Hospital carrying in my arms my dying cat. The staff were very helpful, we discussed possible courses of action and decided on what was best for Danny. They were compassionate and understanding, and helped him be at peace. Although the outcome is heartbreaking, he was screaming in pain because of an ongoing disease.

My cat was injured, and none of my local vets were accepting new patients. I was referred to Ark. They were able to see my cat that same day, diagnosed the issues (which required surgery), mapped out two programs of treatment allowing me to balance cost and post-surgical care and were very thorough and straight-forward. These guys were great when my dog got sick. Our regular vet couldn't help us and recommended Ark. They got us in quickly and x-rayed our dog, turns out she had eaten a sock and it got stuck. They couldn't do the surgery as soon as we needed, so they recommended us to Green Acres. They called ahead and transferred our records for me so it was a super smooth check in process. Our dog is fine and made a full recovery thanks to the fast work and excellent care of Dr. Poe and the staff here.

This place is *amazing*. My fur baby buddy and I have made a few phone calls & visits here, and the staff is always SO awesome. They are such a great wonderful team. Helpful, efficient and kind. The receptionists, technicians, and doctors! So very grateful & appreciative to have found this gem.
Earlier this month, I experienced the most horrible situation. I was out of state, and I received a call from my dog's kennel that my dog became acutely sick (four days after drop off), having bloody diarrhea, and had to leave immediately. Unfortunately, my only emergency contacts that were in town that day were my 80 year old parents, who were not used to taking care of any animals whatsoever, not to mention sick ones.
