Be careful before bringing your loved one in an emergency to this place, they are extortionists! That after charging you up front for an office visit $200 because your dog had a cut that needed stitching up with a stitch or two to keep it closed and germs out, they will hand you an estimate for $2500-3000 before sutcherring!!! Took my senior dog there for treatment and it turned into the vet degrading me as a dog owner. How disrespectful and unnecessary to treat people this way when they bring their animals to you for help. I will never take my animals there again. I've already told at least 10 people to stay far away from the place. Urgent care vet even argued with me about what my regular vet ordered for my dog that had nothing to do with why I brought my dog in!! Never again. They charged me $1400 for testing and treatment for hyperthyroidism in my cat. That's twice what any else would charge. Sandy told me to read the notes at the end of the paperwork she had wrote when Rudy was finally discharged after nearly 4 hours of waiting. When I got home, I read the note that my cat has a bad heartbeat and I should seek a specialist. I want to a specialist and the cat was diagnosed with heart disease and has less than a year to live. Don't waste your time or money on these people.
Vet was rude and passive aggressive. Made me feel bad about seeking help for my dog that was in pain... sorry she was scared

Calling this place a Hospital & Urgent Care is in no way a proper description. If I could give Negative stars I would. We called in because my 13 year old daughter's 9 year old cat, suddenly began to meow strangely, urinated on our floor, and because breathing and panting heavily. Being around 10pm at night, we called knowing this was the only option for immediate help and treatment. Unfortunately, though the receptionists were very hospitable and the staff is overall friendly, I cannot give ARK anything better than one star. I took my dog in recently because he was unable to keep food down and had and excess of mucus in his nose and mouth, along with other respiratory symptoms. After running some tests and finding not much outside of the ordinary on the bloodwork, we had an x-ray done. Terrible experience from the phone call to pick up with one exception. There is one employee that saved us. Thank God she was in the front when we walked in and she saved us. I called because my cat was very sick. I had a conversation with the employee who answers the phone, who now I suspect her only job is to direct people to other places by saying it is only "50-55 miles away".
