Recently our 10 year old Cockapoo was attacked by 2 large dogs. Sadie was treated with such compassion and care by all of the staff. They explained everything in detail and were very thorough with all of her follow up visits. Each time we had to drop her off, we knew she was in good hands. Thank you so much for all that you did for her!

had to bring my kitten in as she developed conjunctives, and the vet was absolutely wonderful was down was down on my cats level looking in her eyes and running though everything to figure out what she could have. they beefed up running an eye pressure test to make sure it wasn't uveitis and i was afraid how much it would cost but it ended up being very very reasonable! they put her on a course of antibiotics and my kitten's eye cleared right up! if i could take my cat to the vet i saw that day as her regular vet i 100% woul... read more

Went away for work & dog got sick - v lethargic, wldnt eat, terrible diarrhea...Reg vet couldn't get him in on Friday when I got back. Ark did and it was a great visit. Of course more $, but vet talked with me abt being cautious w care and tests on a visit early in the week, but not on a Friday afternoon- I was grateful for her advice. We were worried abt a blockage. Fluid by IV, Blood taken, X-rays, all of it in a 1/2 hour visit. Doggo loves to drink swamp water and had an intestinal parasite - phew. Although it is frustrating that you can not make an appointment for the next day if there are not slots, the care is excellent. The vet and technicians were very knowledgable and kind. I wist they took on new patients.

We have both a new puppy and an older dog, both small breed, with Ark. They have done right by both of them. We've worked with a couple other vets in town and Ark has been the best so far. - clean premises/exam rooms. - reasonable pricing. - personable staff. I'm between 4-5, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt because my only complaint is the same one I have about human healthcare: COVID protocols that separate patients from their loved ones cause additional anxiety that makes bad situations worse. I was never going to write a review for this office, but it looks like they have good engagement on Yelp so potentially the information could be useful for them moving forward. I adopted my dog at the end of March. As far as I'm aware, we don't have a ton of urgent/emergency vets in the area, and this was one of two I had the information for. I've had to bring my leopard gecko here twice now due to a prolapse, and I have been more than happy with the care and service here! First off, the receptionists are incredibly kind, perhaps the friendliest and most personable I've encountered, which speaks volumes given the fact that ARK is a busy place, and I'm sure very stressful. I've lived in Rochester for almost 9 years now and been to many vets around the area. Don't bother going anywhere else -- come to The Ark! Seriously!!! They are so kind and attentive to each of our pets. I always trust their diagnoses, which I can't say the same for a few other practices we have been to. We initially made an appointment here because our "regular" vet couldn't see our dog for 8 weeks. We called The Ark and they got us in that same week. So pleased that we switched to Ark. Dr. Seidel is caring, compassionate, and truly knowledgeable. She responds to phone callls and emails, and provides some of the best care my dogs have received. The staff is very kind and friendly (and animal lovers too), so I know my pets are in good hands. My biggest plus: I never feel like I'm being gouged.
