I went thinking they could do a quick filling,do to my office not being able to get me in. I have seen my dentist regularly,they wanted me to have gingervitis cleanings multiple crowns and deep gum cleaning,not to mention the high priced toothbrush and rinse, after insurance coverage,my total was near 4k, however for the actual filling and cleaning I needed at my own dentist today was $21 dollars after insurance. Sadly, my fiance & I didn't have a very good experience. For both of our appt's we had to wait in the lobby for more almost an hour each. Also, for my single implant needed I was quoted almost double what a perio specialist quoted & for my boyfriend's extractions and dentures almost $15,000. Granted, some of his tooth are going to be difficult to pull but we have to look at other options especially for him.
I paid to have 9 teeth pulled and a bottom denture. now they want an outrageous amount to do a surgical procedure to remove some extra bone from the bottom of my mouth.. I am unable to wear my bottom plate... and not only that but my bottom plate had mold growing in it from between the lining and the plate... I want my money back..I give them a rating of less than a one..
I drove over an hour for my exam because I heard they were great and "affordable" to have the dentist who examined my teeth grab my cheek and pull it out of the way so she could see inside my mouth. Not at all gentle! Not someone I want to pull a tooth if needed, or use a drill on my teeth! I was told that I need crowns on a few teeth instead of new fillings, and when I said I can't afford the crowns they told me they can probably just put new fillings in then. HAVEN'T BEEN IN A WHILE, ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT IS CHICKEN. CALLED, GOT RIGHT IN, WAS NOT NERVOUS AT ALL, SO FAR SO GREAT, DR. BUFORD WAS MY DR. YESTERDAY, I GO BACK TODAY FOR WHAT I CALL A MAJOR PROCEDURE, ASKED DR. BUFORD IF HE HAD A NICK NAME AND HE SAID I GUESS DOC, I CALLED HIM BIG, BELIEVE IT OR NOT I AM ACTUALLY GETTING 2 FOR 1 TODAY, WISH ME LUCK 2 PM IS TEE TH TIME AT WILDER RD. OFFICE
My olnly complaint would be when I called for My appointment I called because I needed a tooth pulled. The person did not set me up for an extraction only an examine. I had to wait 3 hrs to be "squeezed in" than 2 hrs. Before the tooth was pulled. Wh did she not schedule me for an extraction????? The Dentist gentle my complaint is with scheduling. I have to take DART. THIS caused me to cancell My Ride and have to and hope a van could get me when I finally got done.
Phone service need to be better. Really need to be more understanding.
Until my last two visits I was very satisfied with them. First problem I sat in the office for a total of about 4 hours. Did not get any real explanation of what they were doing until I complained. Last visit I sat in reception area for 30 minutes after my appointment time, no explanation given why they were running late. Also, they charged me an additional $4.00 for something that was supposed to be included in the ammount I paid back in January. Not my fault they undercharged me for the proceedure.
