NEVER EVER go to Aspen Dental period. I have always been relatively healthy (I am 21) with my teeth and went there for a routine checkup and left with them telling me I had some sort of gingivitis that was causing tooth decay and gum loss, needed a scaling and root planing procedure that would cost $1000, and could either get me in a few days from then, or months from now. They cannot keep to the schedule. They pressure you like crazy to buy stuff like the toothbrush they are selling that’s “top of the line”. I literally cannot stand this place. Some staff is great but on the business end they are rude. They change your appointment without clearing it with you so when you take off work to go and come to find out they changed it to the next day. THE WORK THEY DONE WAS GREAT. THEY WERE VERY MISS LEADING OUR BILL WE WERE CHARGED $139.00 FOR A TOOTH BRUSH WE DID NOT REALIZE AND WERE TOLD OUR BILL OUR PART WAS 1300.00 WHICH WE PAID AND FOUND OUT LATER WE WERE TOLD OUR INSURANCE DIDNT PAY WE OWED 633.00 MORE. This place was a nightmare. First of all, I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned when I went in for my checkup, but the dental hygienist kept trying to sell me an oral b toothbrush. When I told her I just bought a sonicare, she said to throw it out and buy the oral b because it’s ‘sooo much better’. When I was getting my teeth x-rayed, the equipment looked dirty. Most painful cleaning I have ever experienced. Hitting my lips multiple times, drenched in water running down my neck, having to ask for suction, water shot up my nose, hygienist interrupted several times that other patients where waiting. Totally rush job. Guess that is what you get with a DHMO. Never again.
I thought it sucked, they said they could fix my partial but when I get there it’s a different story after an hour & a half. They tried to convince me there’s more wrong than just the reason I came in for . The place really sucked , it’s most likely about the money . I most definitely Do Not recommend Aspen Dental!!’
Oh. My god. This visit was so painful emotionally, and I’m not referring to the dental work. I was in the office for over 2.5 hours for a CLEANING. My appointment on Thursday was somehow not on their schedule even though I called in and scheduled it and never got a confirmation email. Exam was six months ago. Waited 1.5 hours to be seen, another 30 minutes of waiting while in the exam chair. Found out they would not clean in the same day. Fed up and booked my cleaning for yesterday. Cleaning went well enough, but the hygienist kept trying to sell an oral b powered toothbrush. Went to check out and they claimed I owed them money. I had an appointment Tuesday Dec 5th at 2 :45 I arrived at 2:19 with about 5 people already waiting. I was there for a denture refit after 3 months nothing major. After about an hour another 5 or so patients arrived. By 4:20 everyone who was there before myself and the 5 plus that showed up after I arrived had all been called back before myself.
