I felts like I was in an assembly line at a factory. The dental assistant was very friendly and is the only reason I am giving two stars. The hygienist and the dentist where professional, but I felt like they were very rushed. The dentist barely spent two minutes with me . I thought he must have been very busy but when I left out of the office 5 min later with the business lady I saw him sitting down looking at his phone. Worst experience ever! Forced me to get full mouth x-rays, plus! Didn't want them at all because I didn't need them. I've been x-rayed to near the radioactive stage during the past few years due to an illness I had and didn't want to subject myself to more. I was told in a most authoritarian manner that "I WILL get these x-rays or there will not be a consult!" Period. Being kind of stunned I just let it happen. Worst x-ray experience ever. I need a denture repair. Their dentist would not authorize it. their Lab said it would be possible. still the dentist would not authorize it. Why? She wanted me to buy new dentures. I do not recommend this business. Will not ever go back. I felt like I was at a used car lot. They said by law I had to had to have dental xrays. I only went in there for a repair on my denture. When I called Aspen Dental I was told they had an oral surgeon who could perform an implant. When I arrived I was given an x-ray, even though I had been given the same type of x-ray by a dentist two months earlier. I certainly don't appreciate being given more x-rays than I need. After the x-ray, I was told that they don't actually have an oral surgeon, but that they could refer me to one. We normally go to the Aspen dental in Gresham and am very happy with that office. My son was having tooth pain so I called to schedule an appointment at the Gresham office. Unfortunately the first appointment was three weeks out. She suggested that I call the Aspen dental in Happy Valley. When I called the receptionist was very rude, almost as though I was bothering her by calling. She was able to get an appointment for the following Saturday. Please, don't go here! It is definitely set up like a used-car dealership. I was glad they got me in last minute (and didn't charge for the exam because I didn't have insurance) but after the dentist looked at my teeth the business manager took me to her office and explained I had 10 cavities and needed a crown, plus they were going to include a 2-visit cleaning session and an electric toothbrush . . . quoting me a cost of $3,500! It's like shopping at Winn co rather than Safeway. It's cheaper but the quality is not there. Get the feeling they had to settle for this job. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. My advice is find a real dentist not a chain store

Well to start off their prices were off the wall!! So expensive compared to other dental clinics. This place was a joke. Very pushy about the most expensive option. The doctor wasn't very nice. I told him how much pain I was in and he said "well you can talk to my assistant". He didn't talk to me at all after that, he told his assistant what needed to be done then left. The receptionist was the only comforting person there. I will never go back.

I took my mother here because she needed a tooth extracted. She doesn't have insurance and they said that was fine. They said she'll be able to get a full exam and X-rays for free! Lies! I'm not sure what happen when my mother went in but after her exam and she was in billing room and called me in with her. They charged her for a "limited exam" which apparently cost. And said that's what my mother wanted. Wtf?! Ok yeah like who in the right mind would choose an exam they had to pay for over a free one?! Since it was already ... read more
